Ranny Shibley, CEO
Ranny is a serial entrepreneur and businessman. He has experience in multiple industries throughout North America, Asia and the Middle East. Ranny brings to Bloom his experience as President and CEO of RJS Capital Inc. where he is responsible for strategy, risk management and business development in evaluating and acquiring shares and assets in different Industries including energy, agriculture and technology. Prior to RJS, Ranny was the President of a private energy company for 15 years as well as a Director for a number of other oil and gas companies.
Ranny has previously been named Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40, Oil & Gas Magazine’s Up & Coming Businessmen and the University of Calgary’s Upstanding Alumni.
Michelle Hockley, Vice President
Michelle Hockley is Vice President at Bloom Benefits Group, where she leads the service team and ensures clients receive exceptional support at every stage of their benefits journey. With more than 15 years of experience in the group benefits industry, she brings deep knowledge of plan administration, client service, and relationship management to her team and the organizations she serves.
Throughout her career, Michelle has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful solutions and creating positive client experiences. Her expertise spans employee benefits consulting, plan implementation, ongoing plan management, and helping organizations navigate an ever-evolving benefits landscape. She works closely with clients and the Bloom team to ensure service excellence, responsive communication, and long-term success. Passionate about building strong relationships, Michelle takes pride in supporting clients as their businesses grow, believing exceptional service is at the heart of every successful partnership.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her two children and making the most of family adventures and the moments that matter most.
